Transit Television

Transit TV operates a US nationwide transit advertising network.

We maintained a 5km vehicle tracking gateway called Lymmo for downtown Orlando using WiFi and LCD based Point of Information (Kiosk) systems and built and installed Point of Information displays at Millbrae Station for the city of San Francisco's bus arrival system. We worked with Orbital to connect their data with our information system using long range WiFi, designed and built testing equipment for GPS receivers and vehicle based computer systems. We coordinated work with Indian and Ukrainian subcontractors to develop custom hardware and software for the vehicle based advertising network. We initiated and managed a direct purchasing and testing process in Taiwan, saving the company US$3M by working with overseas manufacturers directly. We procured and commissioned US$10M worth of automotive electronics and vehicle based LCD monitors.

Wireless Matrix

Wireless Matrix is a vehicle tracking/mobile solutions provider, formerly Mobile Aria, a Delphi subsidiary.

We helped design a service vehicle AVL/work station for Verizon Wireless, and sourced parts for and managed the manufacturing of wireless diagnostic equipment for British Petroleum.

AGP Telecom

AGP Telecom is a manufacturer of VoIP solutions for next-generation telecom service providers.

We developed integrated voice-over-IP (VoIP) product suite in a joint venture with them. Products included H.323 gatekeeper, IP-PBX/interactive voice response, voicemail, multi-conference unit, configuration server, provisioning server, firewall traversal/VPN, and gateways. We performed the initial analysis of options to build their IP phone products, evaluating chipsets and SDKs from TI, Broadcom, Intel, Radvision and open source projects.

We developed an IP-PBX appliance product for SMEs using sipX, embedded Linux, and Xen. All functions were managed via a web GUI, including VoIP, firewall, DHCP, email, and other network services.

China Ministry of Rail

We implemented a set of internal and external value-added network services on top of their new country-wide network backbone, including email, HR, store-and-forward fax, certification authority and ISP functions.

Modern Godown Limited

Modern Godown is a 3rd-party logistics and warehouse operator with operations in Hong Kong and China's Pearl River Delta.

We designed and implemented a custom warehouse management system supporting their core warehouse and back office operations.

Axway

Axway is a French software and services company focusing on EAI and B2Bi solutions.

We provided local support for Axway's four partners in Taiwan, helping them with sales, training, and project implementation. In the process we worked extensively with Axway/Cyclone products for EDI, B2Bi, EAI, BAM, system management, and managed file transfer.

We developed a web Web Services connector for Axway's EAI product. We then deployed the new product at Acer, integrating with web services solutions from Tibco, Novell and Microsoft. We supported implementations at Danish Post and presales activities in the US, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.

We also developed system components for the Hong Kong government Digital Trade and Transportation Network project, which utilizes Axway's EAI product as its backbone.

EVA Airlines

We defined next-generation integrated air logistics systems, including web booking system for freight forwarders, streamlined package handing system for shippers, enhanced workflow system connecting CargoIMP EDI with internal workflow processes using BEA WebLogic J2EE and customer's existing Tuxedo applications.

As part of the project, we developed a Tuxedo ATMI connector for Axway's EAI product.

Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation

We developed a leave management workflow system based on Savvion's business process management platform, with extensive customization in Java to support complex business rules.

Taiwan National ID Smart Card Consortium

With BT Solutions, British Telecom's systems integration company, and Baltimore Technologies, we designed a public key infrastructure and high-availablity directory services to support registration of 22 million citizens. We also developed applications for the new smart card with Baltimore's encryption toolkits and consulted on the certification practices statement and business applications.

Standard Chartered Bank

Global B2B Exchange is a web-based trade facilitation and supply chain service. The service was awarded Wharton Infosys Business Transformation Award (WIBTA) 2003 and ifs/BT Financial Innovation Awards 2002.

We implemented the core information exchange backbone based on Tibco Rv, the EDI interchange system, and an IETF EDI-INT AS1 EDI exchange system using S/MIME which integrated with their Algorithmic Research hardware security module.

VCHEQ

VCHEQ offers a global business-to-business payment service based on the Visa payment network to banks and their corporate customers. Its partners and investors include JP Morgan and Allianz Capital.

We implemented the client smart-card interface, customer/partner web interface, CA infrastructure, and integrated with their back end payment interface to Visa.

SAMPO Technology Corporation

SAMPOTech is a leading OEM supplier for LCD displays and televisions, supplying customers like Viewsonic.

We implemented a supply-chain event management system based on Viewlocity's supply chain event management and EAI products, giving visibility to customer orders, inventory, shipments and work in process. We integrated with their Oracle ERP system and built custom interfaces for the Viewlocity product to support web-based e-procurement functions for Sampotech's suppliers.

TOM Online

tom.com is a NASDAQ-listed Internet portal focusing on greater China.

We implemented a high-availability replicated user directory based on LDAP, giving hundreds of thousands of users single-sign-on capability across all their web properties. We then integrated the system with their Clarify CRM for customer support.

Mitech

Mitech is a Taiwanese manufacturer of building automation systems.

We consulted on product development for integrated IP-based building automation solutions, combining video surveillance with data acquisition and control systems. we also developed systems for monitoring health of cell phone tower systems (MSC) with them for FarEasTone.

Hundure

We retargeted their industrial data acquisition and control hardware system to embedded Linux.
