For Mindoula, a mental health care provider, we took over legacy systems from multiple acquisitions, then defined a new product roadmap and technical architecture.

We created mobile apps for patient communication and a "Slack for health care" back end enabling caregivers to support dozens of patients at once, key to operational efficiency. We built admin and reporting systems and integrations with partners, customers and health data exchanges, and deployed to Azure cloud.

We helped them grow to rank #36 on the Inc 500 with revenue growth of 7,301%, then transitioned to their internal team after they raised VC funding (US$40m so far).

For Health2Sync, we built a diabetes management system that collects data from blood glucose sensors via a mobile device, adds context from meals and exercise, and shares it with doctors and family members. (Techcrunch). We wrote the initial mobile apps, web and admin applications. We transitioned to their internal team once they raised funding (US$10m so far).

For ClickMedix we wrote a mobile medical app to connect patients with specialists using custom forms. Doctors submit cases using a mobile app, and specialists review on the web or mobile and recommend treatment. We took over a prototype and built a complete product, deploying it to the cloud in a HIPAA compliant system. We did extensive integration and customization, e.g. integration with billing, EMR/EHR and e-prescriptions services, as well as white label apps for health care companies.

For Howard Hughes Medical Institute we built custom content management system with workflow and content editing functions, e.g. round trip between HTML and RTF and generation of static HTML for publication. We reworked the CSS for their whole site to support a common CSS framework, avoiding conflicts between pages.

For GigaDB we built a database of medical research datasets, featuring extensive custom search, content management and large file management.

For PicCollage, a top 10 photo sharing app with tens of millions of downloads, we did the initial port to Android and developed the app until they raised funding (Techcrunch) (US$2m so far).

For Audi we built an app to help salespeople close more deals and integrated it with back end CRM, service, marketing and other back office systems. We helped them clean and analyze customer data to provide insights into buyers and the sales process.

For LinkPub we built a mobile content management platform for news apps which lets media companies quickly create high quality private branded apps to target vertical markets. We wrote the Android app and built a custom content management system (CMS) and scalable content delivery platform.

For EMQ, an international funds transfer service, we helped define the product, pitch to banking regulators and raise funding. We built mobile and web apps for customers, back end operating systems, and integrations with banking partners and channels. We transitioned to their internal team after they raised funding (US$26m so far). We continued to help with internal apps, partner integrations, and deployment to AWS.

For Digbil, a provider of digital menu board for quick service restaurants, we implemented a WYSIWYG CMS and consulted on integrated services for restaurants, e.g. POS integration.

For 62 Icon we built a marketplace for custom printing on physical objects, featuring WYSIWYG editor, artist profiles, royalty accounting, affiliate management, payments, print job management, invoicing, abuse management, etc.

For Igloo.com, a domain broker with auctions and monetization services, we helped the new owner migrate hosting, consolidating multiple physical servers. We optimized to use less resources and reskinned the site, then added additional features and performance optimizations to handle 10x more load.

For ProTPMS, manufacturer of aftermarket tire pressure monitoring sensors, we built mobile apps which communicate via Bluetooth to control the programmer which writes device firmware. We added server side applications to manage data updates and analytics about usage.

For Bid and Buy we built a a real-time bidding "penny auction" site. We rescued their business when their old technology stack was unable to handle the load from their success. We implemented an auction server in Erlang using websockets to scaled to tens of thousands of simultaneous users. We then built a complete administration system to manage back office logistics, analytics, marketing, and anti-fraud. We created a real-time mobile client to let users bid on auctions from anywhere.

For Surf Said Fred we built a community for surfers and beach cities in Australia. The "Foursquare for Surfers" mobile app lets surfers determine whether the surf's up with weather and tide information and share reports. It has extensive location-based search information for local businesses as well as social networking and community features.
